the Water Stories takes the shape of almost any container: art spaces, caves, mountain homes, conference rooms, dance floors, festivals or market places. Talks, workshops and creative laboratories can be mixed and matched to fit your space, your audience and your budget.

the Water Bar

The vibrant heart of the encounter invites us for a sparkling pause.

Conversation, experiment and play converge around the spinning vortex. Children watching seriously, adults looking like children.

Behind the counter, the barman and barwoman shake up stories, serving not just water, but questions. Practical, philosophic, or simply fun.

Filtration? Dynamisation? The memory of water? Anecdotes, skepticism and wonder all find their way into the freezer for a first-hand experience of the freezing method.

the Workshops

As movement artists we observe waters within and around us. They look like cells, or people, or galaxies — diverse and divergent states of a living entity. States of Water Matter and Aether inspire a relationship with movement, dance, sound, voice, vibration and somatics.

We believe in the transformative power of activating our senses and reviving our relationship to the elements of life, reclaiming our sensorial and mental abilities as we address today’s pressing issues, rather than echoing paralysing statements of crisis epistemology.

[MW] Movement Workshops — an emulsion of contemporary dance, breath work, martial arts and improvisation.

[SsShe] Sonoro-Somatic & Semantic Explorations — micro-massaging our tissues and thoughts with voices and the words for water across languages and time. Drumming, humming and speculative phonosemantics.

[Kri] Kreative Research Investigations — a trans-disciplinary approach to staging as well as personal investigation, based on the input, experience and curiosity of the participants.

Where? We like to hybridize outdoor with indoor, natural floors and dance linoleums, rubber shoes and bare feet. Suitable for professional/academic environments as well as retreats, classrooms and private homes.

Who? For movement-oriented audiences, artists and scientists, elders and kids. Our work is inclusive for individuals with diverse impairments (visual, movement and mental).
